About Me
I am a Technical Support team member at Fore! Reservations. I love my job supporting the #1 golf software in the industry. I live in the West Suburbs of Chicago. I'm now a Blackhawks fan. I will probably become a Fire fan as well when the season starts up. I'm really looking forward to the next World Cup - I might have to take a few sick days during that time. I am an avid golfer, unfortunately my game has been deteriorating since I have moved here from Southern New Mexico - I can't play every day like I used to be able to. My appreciation for how good the pros are has really increased for sure. I think Tiger will have a good season this year which in turn will hopefully boost the golf industry again.
Web Developement
One of my hobbies is developing web-sites and web-applications. I do most of my work in PHP and MySQL, but I also do JSP and MySQL. I try to stay away from .NET and ASP but have done some work with these Microsoft frameworks in the past.
I don't believe in re-inventing the wheel - so I hack a lot of JavaScript/jQuery applications to make them fit my needs. I am a big user of jQuery plugins and AJAX implementations to give the web-site/application fluidity and seamless functionality.
And as a side note: "users don't let users use IE"
